Apple salsa goes well with these burgers, which have juicy grilled chicken sausages on them. Sweet and sour salsa goes well with savory sausages to make a tasty and filling meal.
Ingredients: 4 chicken sausages. 4 burger buns. 1 tablespoon olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. For Apple Salsa:. 2 apples, diced. 1/2 red onion, finely chopped. 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped. 1 tablespoon lime juice. 1 teaspoon honey. Salt and pepper to taste. Lettuce leaves for garnish.
Instructions: Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Add salt and pepper to the chicken sausages and brush them with olive oil. To cook the sausages, put them on the grill and turn them over a few times during the 6 to 8 minutes until they are fully cooked and have grill marks. Make the apple salsa while the sausages are on the grill. Apples, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, honey, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl. After mixing well, set it aside. Take the sausages off the grill when they're done and let them rest for one minute. Put the burger buns on the grill and toast them for one minute, or until they get a little brown. For each burger, start by putting a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun. Then add a grilled chicken sausage and a lot of apple salsa. Place the other half of the bun on top and serve right away. These burgers are great! Enjoy your grilled chicken sausages with apple salsa!
