Ingredients: 4 beef steaks such as sirloin or ribeye. 2 apples, diced. 1 onion, diced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 teaspoon cumin. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro. Juice of 1 lime.
Instructions: Season beef steaks with salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, and cinnamon. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add seasoned steaks to the skillet and cook to desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove steaks from the skillet and let rest on a plate. In the same skillet, add diced apples, onion, and garlic. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in chopped cilantro and lime juice. Serve the beef steaks topped with warm apple salsa.
