It can get pretty complex!

Having a boring day with nothing to stimulate your brain? Here’s a little tidbit to exercise that mass of grey matter! This game promises a challenge unlike any other!!
Gameplay –
The first stage on Easy mode provides a tutorial that gives you all the information you need to play this game. Basically, click on two squares to turn all the squares in that line from blue to green. When two such lines drawn overlap, the overlapping squares will be turned back to blue. The main objective of the game is to imitate the pattern of blue and green squares shown in the image in the shortest possible number of moves.
There are three modes of difficulty to this game – easy, normal, and hard. (Noob people like me get stuck in easy mode…) If you’re stumped completely by this game yet desperate to solve the puzzles and progress through the game, you can purchase solutions by real cash!
Review –
A good point of this game is that the simple layout does not distract from the pure challenge of the game. It ultimately serves its purpose as a mental exercise for lovers of intense puzzle games.
This is one of the most challenging types of puzzle games I’ve played. Okay, so maybe I haven’t played that many real and intense puzzle games (I’ve more or less only played casual puzzle games like Cheese Tower), but my point here is that it’s a pretty difficult title. Brain Squares is definitely recommended to all those who love a good mental challenge, and those who just can’t get enough of puzzle games.

Game Review - Heriswap

If you’re looking for a cute and fun game to play, this title is definitely a must-try for you! It’ll calm you down and lift your spirits no matter what troubles you face!
Gameplay –
Heriswap seems like just another match-3 game – you have to match at least 3 leaves of the same shape and colour in a row to earn points. Meanwhile at the bottom of the page, a hedgehog keeps moving across the screen. Every time you match at least 3 leaves successfully, the hedgehog will be halted in its tracks and you will gain extra time to create more combos and complete the level. If the hedgehog moves across the screen completely, your time is up and it’s game over!
The layout of the menu and game screens is very simple – no elaborate animations or psychedelic shades. In fact, that’s the aim of the developers – to keep the design simple and gameplay smooth. And smooth it definitely is! There are no glitches or lags in the game.
This game can be enjoyed by people of all ages. There are two levels of difficulty: easy and hard. Those who don’t play match-3 games very often can definitely get through easy mode without much trouble, so don’t worry if you’re not experienced with the genre! Experienced players should definitely start with “hard” mode, because that is really the standard level of most other match-3 games.
Review –
Simple as the game might seem, it really is a pleasure to play! The adorable background music and pastel-coloured graphics are calm-inducing. It makes people happy! The main difference about this game compared to other match-3 titles like Bejeweled Blitz is that this game is stress-less! If you’re very concerned about difficulty, you can always start at easy mode.
As I’m one who likes exciting games as well, part of me hopes to see a little more variation in the gameplay at the same time. Although it’s good to play a peaceful and stress-free game sometimes, Heriswap can get a little monotonous after a while without features like boosts or bonuses.
The best way to play this game:
Sit on a recliner and plug in your headphones. And be lost in this cute little world!!
This is Soupe au Caillou’s first game as a budding Android developer, and it’s a pretty good title! Although Heriswap is based on a very, very familiar concept to all of us, it manages to bring joy via its adorable graphics and music. We’re definitely looking forward to the next title from them!

Okay, so the link is not a very good one. But fantasy titles are fun to play anyway! So let's get started here...
1. FALLEN REALMS -
You can choose to be a male or female character, from a range of classes: rogues, mages, or warriors. Assist Elphine in her quest and take on several other tasks as you journey through this mystical land! In this RPG, you also get to challenge other players in the arena and make new friends through the social gaming network of Papaya. This is a pretty good title with strong graphics and music! You should definitely check this out!
2. WITCH'S WORKSHOP: OPEN FOR BUSINESS -
If you're not into the role-playing type of games, perhaps you might wanna try this out instead. This is a match-3 title with a background story about a girl making potions for the townsfolk. Satisfy customers with the right combinations! If you're really hooked on this, you can even get new items and upgrades with the gold that you earn from selling potions to customers, which make the game that much more fun!

Game Review - Triple Town
Recently, I downloaded a puzzle game that I heard so much about on the Internet. I’m not usually good with puzzle titles and they don’t appeal to me very much, but I got hooked on this one. Guess what it’s called?
*** TRIPLE TOWN!! ***
Okay, so I admit I’m a little on the slow side. This game was featured on Applorer way back in February this year, and I’ve only got to it now. So don’t worry; if you haven’t tried it, better late than never! And this is such a good game too. Here’s why.
Gameplay –
Basically, you place patches of grass, bushes, trees, houses, and bears onto spaces on the map until you fill up the entire place.
The end.
Just kidding! The trick is this: three grass patches placed side by side will combine to form a bush, three bushes form a tree, three trees form a little brick hut, three huts form a house, three houses form a mansion, and three mansions form a castle. So you’ll have to strategically group as many items as you can in order to earn the most points in the limited amount of space that you have!
Things are not that simple -- Sometimes, you’ll get bears to place on the map too. Bears move around in the space that they are enclosed in and they often hinder your progress. There’s also the Ninja Bear that hops around to any empty space, regardless of boundaries. Fortunately, you can get rid of these creatures! When bears get closed in on all sides, they turn into gravestones. Three gravestones side by side form a church, three churches form a cathedral, three cathedrals form a small treasure chest (which you can unlock to get coins), and three small treasure chests form a large treasure chest.
There are also items such as rocks that you can collate together to form treasure chests, and bonus items like crystals (which serve as “joker cards” – you can place a crystal beside two identical items and it’ll bring about the transformation even though you only have two pieces) and Bots (which turn bears and ninja bears into gravestones immediately without you having to trap them).
Review –
This is REALLY addictive. I’m not kidding! If a puzzle game can get someone like me who only plays action titles hooked so quickly, it’s definitely a good game. This title is simple in design but it’s the ingenious idea that thrills!
There are a certain number of turns you can get before you can’t continue playing. If you get addicted too, you can choose to pay a small, one-time fee which gives you an unlimited number of turns forever and on any Android device that you own. Otherwise, you can patiently wait for the number of turns to recharge and then continue once the bar is full again. Or, you can purchase turns and other game pieces with the coins that you earn from completing a game.
So far, my personal high score is just 150,000+ and I can’t go any higher! Tell us if you can beat that score. And share some of your own tips with us!!

Gameplay –
Guide your little caveman through various levels of gameplay! Collect fruits to gain points, jump on ferocious creatures to defeat them, and destroy the cages of your animal friends to free them from hunters. Compare your high scores for each level with your friends!
There are three ways to play this game – you can either control the movements of your caveman by tilting your handheld device, or by pressing the directional buttons and action button on your screen, or even using a keyboard if your phone has one. Personally, I’m most used to and thus, prefer the second method: multitouch controls. You can just pause the game and change to your preferred mode of controls anytime. The games runs smoothly and there are no problems with controls!
Review –
This game boasts colourful graphics and simple gameplay that anyone can pick up easily, which makes it enjoyable by people of all ages! Gamers who like arcade-styled platformers will enjoy this title as well.
