Mirsa huffed, trying to ignore it as Lucio left them when he saw Rinina, his eyes lighting up in a way they didn’t really when he saw Mirsa themselves.

Mirsa tried not to hate the purple haired magician; they really did. they knew the other had no interest in the former count, which was broadcast clearly with how Rinina shrunk away from him, Rinina’s red-haired partner stepping in front of them, their amber eyes flashing dangerously. but Mirsa couldn’t help the sharp surge of jealousy that plowed through them when they were abandoned in favor of someone else.

Mirsa rubbed their eyes, not caring if they smudged the eye makeup, they had painstakingly applied early, it was in colors Lucio had previously said looked good on them, and they couldn’t even bare to think about what he might think, he hadn’t even seemed to notice their efforts, after all.

Mirsa tried hard to ignore the stinging in their eyes, as well as the worried glances from some of the other magicians hanging around. the light purple haired magician clinging to Rinina’s ginger haired cousin. the blue haired, one-eyed boy hanging by the other magician with a stormy aesthetic in their hair and outfit. the two black haired and blue-eyed magicians, their damn emotion and healing magics seeming to notice Mirsa’s plight before anyone else and making them both look on with what the psychic could only assume was pity.

Strawberry - Mirsa

#I know summer's over and honestly good riddance I hate summer but hey I finally got around to another one of these #I always knew mirsa would be strawberry they were like the first one I knew right off the bat #it just took me this long to draw them...I'm still stuck on pirouette tbh I have no idea what to do with him #mirsa is strawberry rinina is prickly pear daphne is orange alverio is apple + apple blossoms #but I have *no idea* what I would pair pirouette with and that's one of the main reasons I was turned off of these #also because the colored linearts take so much time and energy this one tho was surprisingly not difficult as I know the others were #lucio come help your datemate mirsa needs help catching the damn strawberries #the arcana #custom apprentice #apprentice mirsa

Specifically because of the ginger hair/leaves!

Daphne

Element: Earth 🪨

Sandslash!

Yes, because it’s yellow, but I also think that Alolan sandslash being blue and that Daphne has blue highlights is a cute little nod! also when protecting Portia, Daphne can 100% get highly aggressive.

Pirouette

Element: Emotion 🖤

Umbreon (shiny)

Yes, shiny specifically for the color palette! I just feel like Espeon, Umbreon, and Sylveon are much more emotion based Pokémon than any of the other Eevees, probably because they evolve with friendship.

Mirsa

Element: Psychic 🔮

Dragonair (shiny)

Completely what made me think about this in the first place. Dragonair has a ball on it’s neck, reminiscent of Mirsa’s crystal ball and the stones they use specifically for their scrying, Dragonair can get psychic moves (not many, but a few is more than none!) and the shiny coloring is close to Mirsa’s cloak.
