#I finished portia's route actually a bit ago #so yeah it was really passed time for post game daphne #and just now realizing that means nearly all of my apprentices have post game looks now #and mirsa is a special case they came about way later than the rest of them and I have to replay a route for them #a route I was already more than most of the way done with #I keep planning to put daphnes in her hair damnit! I just remembered!#yes that's a scarf of portia's it might not be exactly the one she wears in her hair but it is the same pattern #I don't know what really to say about her portia's route really just played into how she already was #portia didn't make her more confident more adventurous or anything she was already like that #maybe made her more comfortable being more powerless? but I never really thought about that before #that on a boat ride daphne doesn't really have access to her main choice of magic prowess #which is earth of course not touching earth does kinda lessen her magic ability #the arcana #custom apprentice #apprentice daphne

Daphne

Sandslash!

Yes, because it’s yellow, but I also think that Alolan sandslash being blue and that Daphne has blue highlights is a cute little nod! also when protecting Portia, Daphne can 100% get highly aggressive.

Pirouette

Element: Emotion 🖤

Umbreon (shiny)

Yes, shiny specifically for the color palette! I just feel like Espeon, Umbreon, and Sylveon are much more emotion based Pokémon than any of the other Eevees, probably because they evolve with friendship.

Mirsa

Element: Psychic 🔮

Dragonair (shiny)

Completely what made me think about this in the first place. Dragonair has a ball on it’s neck, reminiscent of Mirsa’s crystal ball and the stones they use specifically for their scrying, Dragonair can get psychic moves (not many, but a few is more than none!) and the shiny coloring is close to Mirsa’s cloak.

“Who’s up for a snowball fight?”

#based on the new winter tale! daphne's winter outfit asserted itself on me pretty quickly #as did pirouette's but this one is some daphne time #and even though I haven't done portia's bit in it yet I needed to draw daphne #I do know that portia's bit is inside but I had a...idea #daphne's magic is as you all know earth related mainly rocks but in general it's earth #she can feel through the earth she can chuck rocks she can be basically terra from dc if she wants yup #her magic is earth not snow/ice...which means...she may have rolled a rock in snow #daphne needed a frame for her snowball of course! she's not used to powdery little specks eww #I meant to stick two daphnes in her hair but I forgot them oops #the arcana #custom apprentice #apprentice daphne

#I can *finally* go do other things now! yay! I've been working on these for like three days #pirouette was really the only one I had a lot of trouble with #yes mirsa is electro just because colors their actual magic is psychic so that also doesn't really fit with anything #but I wanted to make them electro right away so they were an easy pick #in the end pirouette got hydro because his eyes are blue #and something something flow of water/flow of emotion something #everyone else had a clear element to play off of #tho I did debate either making rinina pyro or anemo for a bit because wind is their secondary trait #and I was thinking about how they could pair with a genshin!prim and how I don't really play with their wind talent #but wind is very specifically their *secondary* magical skill and they are most talented in fire so pyro it is #realistically mirsa does need something covering their head but it didn't look as aesthetically pleasing as I wanted #so I just drew their with bare hair/head because I can it's a drawing they'll be fine #there were just enough weapons for me to give them each one #tho I flipped around a lot on rinina and alverio's weapons #mirsa uses a crystal ball so catalyst of course pirouette gets a bow in muriel's route etc.#and claymore has clay in it and daphne is earth so yes as good a reason as any to pick her weapon #rinina and alverio got juggled around a lot tho but I settled when I decided I could add silver flowers to the grip of a sword #the arcana #custom apprentice #apprentice daphne #apprentice alverio #apprentice pirouette #apprentice mirsa #apprentice rinina #genshin impact

I know I have to because premium scene and I bought the book/episode, but Daphne is actually really uncomfortable with this and doesn’t want to be separated from Asra, even if it means being alone with Portia.
