House passes tax bill that would ban Medicaid from covering transition-related care

The bill would also prohibit marketplace plans available under the Affordable Care Act from covering transgender care as an essential health

Look, I'm trying as hard as I can not to lash out at every person who claimed concerns over a second Trump presidency being the equivalent to a complete attack on the rights for trans Americans were fear mongering.

We don't have time for that, so just please reach out to your Senator and beg them to do everything in their power to kill this bill if they can, but under no circumstances to allow a version of this bill including a Medicaid and ACA marketplace ban on gender affirming care.

If the House version of this passes into law the Republican party will have blood on their hands.
