Michael was feeling brave at this point. With the acknowledgement he received from Jeremy last time, he was beginning to think that the SQUIP was starting to wear off or at least allow Michael back into the other’s field of vision. Just in case, however, he’d dressed up as cool as he thought he could be with his greaser get up. Slicked back hair, jeans, a white tee, and a leather jacket he found at a secondhand store. He was definitely feeling confident. “Hey, Jer -- you actually made it to this instead of ditching it for some party,” he said rather excitedly as playfully patted the boy’s shoulder. He was tricking himself into thinking they were friends again, tricking himself into thinking he even had a chance.
