Masaru arrived just when he wanted to--a half-hour before swing shift, before anyone would really be floating around the break room.
Still in his school uniform, his book bag was expected to be with him.
"Boss..." Agumon whined from inside the digivice.
Masaru shushed him and went to work.
He drew out a bag of salt from his book bag and placed it on the counter.
He emptied what was left in the sugar container next to the coffee maker into the sink, and washed that thoroughly down the drain.
Then he opened the salt and emptied it into the sugar dispenser.
Putting the lid back on, he set it in place before sitting down at the break room table.
He considered pretending to do his homework, but that was too conspicuous for him--it would look suspect.
Instead, after realising Agumon and tossing him an apple from lunch, he pulled out the sports magazine he kept to read in science class, sitting down at the table as he waited for people to come in.
Agumon chortled, "they're gonna be surprised!"
"Unless you spill the beans!" Masaru urgently whispered back, a finger to his lips. "Act natural."
"Oh, right," Agumon agreed, and set to eating his apple
Masaru couldn't wait for the first victim's face.
