Baylee Almon, 1 day after her first birthday died in the horrific terrorist bombing in Oklahoma City on 4/19/1995. She would have turned 23 this coming 4/18/2017 but tragically that was not to be as she was one of the fatalities among 168 souls lost including many babies in the nursery. A very sad day in American history took place on 4/19/95 when Oklahoma City experienced one of the worst home grown terrorist attacks where Timothy McVeigh unleashed a truck bomb by the federal building, Alfred P Murrah killing 168 people and many babies in the nursery including baby Bailee Almon who had just celebrated her 1st birthday the day before and is known for the tragic image of a rescue worker, Chris Fields carrying her bloodied lifeless body cradling her in his arms.
