In other news, this took WAY too much time to put together. I don't even want to use the word "make" since… well it doesn't feel like I did much to transform the material, but then again, I feel like it's in this quantum state of being more and less professional than the actual music video, which is amazing. I love that thing.

Anyway, it's Aprilciation in the Nevermore Discord, how am I going to miss my favorite character's appreciation day when I made stuff for Morella, Eulalie, and Pluto?

So yeah. "Good Luck, Babe". If this song doesn't fit Ada than I'm dumpstering my PC. Poor girl is the comphet queen. (Yes, I'm aware Annabel Lee exists. I still think Ada is deeper in that closet.)

By the way, I love Morellada, but wow, there is so much Lenada content in the actual webcomic. I mean, we all know Lenabel is the end game, but damn. They make a compelling pair.

I know I said I would do "Hell's Coming with Me" as my next music video project, but I also said I would be working on my Dark Souls 2 playthrough, and uh, look, life is complicated. I promise, they're still on my mind.

By the way, this project is how I found about the disastrous Kidz Bop cover of "Good Luck, Babe!" I do not recommend.

Protect Morella at all costs (even though she doesn't really need protecting ;p)

Anyway, I decided to revive this meme for Morella Aprilciation day, and since it was more of a meme format, I also decided to use CapCut, which was... interesting.

Mostly, that's because I made the whole thing using "Standard" features, and then when I went to export it, I realized "Standard" was actually premium.

Well, gee. Thanks, capitalism.

Anyway, not a gigantic fan of having to scrub through every video element to make sure it's not using a premium feature. Also, sometimes CapCut will just load a previous clip's info instead of the one you have selected and also randomly set transitions to 0.0s so you can't tell which clips are using premium transitions. That basically doubled the amount of time I had to spend on this.

But hey, I guess I know how to use CapCut now?

The template feature is wack. I feel like every single one of them is just different enough from your mental plan that it's better to just start from scratch :p

Anyway, Morella <3

I don't think I realized how intimate Morella gets with everyone until I started looking for video material. It definitely made Morellenore (is that the ship name?) start competing with Morellada in my heart, but also, I think Morella just has a harem in Nevermore?

Like, everyone loves her. (How could you not tbh?)

She also initiates a lot of physical contact, which is something she shares with Ada! They're both very touch-focused characters when it comes showing affection. So, y'know. Morellada on top <3
