April Vinyl Challenge: Day 13 - Favorite Cover : Galaxie 500 / On Fire : 1st Pressing(UK) - Black - 1/???? : This band, this album. This cover though, it's so simple yet so great. I have no idea how I discovered Galaxie 500 but I knew the cover while browsing records online. I instantly remembered how much I loved this album. Which led to me rediscovering Galaxie 500 and buying this copy at 3am on ebay. This album sonically is how I feel 24/7. It makes me happy, it gets me when I'm sad. It's an album that narrated many train rides back from shows. Piecing together money for food from CVS. Still think Galaxie 500 is the most underrated band of their time. Wish they'd do a reunion. April Vinyl Challenge: Day 10 - Debut Album : Lorde / Pure Heroine : 2nd Press - Black - 1/?????? : One of the best Debut albums I've heard in recent years. Lorde essential showed up out of nowhere and blew up! It's crazy how this album is so consistent. All the songs are great and this thing can be on constant rotation without me getting sick of it. Unlike most pop artists. Also a lot of people said this album is pressed like shit. April Vinyl Challenge: Day 3 - Guilty Pleasure Record : Katy Perry / One Of The Boys : First Pressing - Red & Yellow - 1/???? : Was way too much of a dweeb to admit how much I dug this album when it first came out.
