❝      𝑨𝑹𝑬  𝒀𝑶𝑼  𝑩𝑼𝑺𝒀 ?      ❞             behind  her  pink  sweater,     serena’s  hands  hold  each  other  as  she  leans  over  anakin’s  shoulder.         they  twist,     as  if  she  can  hide  all  the  nerves  that  have  shifted  into  her  just  by  considering  her  question.         she  reaches  forward,     tucking  a  blonde  curl  behind  her  left  ear.             ❝      it’s  valentine’s  day.         i  ...     i  got  you  a  gift.      ❞

she’s not annoyed.   she doesn’t get annoyed, and even if she did,  she couldn’t stay annoyed at anakin.    not when his nighttime walks and adventures lead him reorganizing just about everything.   at first rapunzel was convinced it was something of a prank,   but she’s since learned it’s not.    once or twice, though, she’s convinced herself that she’s the one who’s misplaced her items from time to time.     “anakin,   have you seen my hairbrush?   i could have sworn i left it on my dresser.”         // @hauntyng  + anakin   + apt4d!

⸸    anakin   skywalker   for   @shesdaylight

he   is   ninety  -  nine   percent   sure   he   had   not   fallen   asleep   in   here  ,    and   he’s   really  ,    really   not   sure   why   he’s   holding   a   bedside   lamp   in   his   arms.      only   he   is  ;      sleepwalking.      when   anakin   lifts   his   gaze   to   meet   his   roommate’s  ,    he’s   pretty   sure   his   cheeks   are   flaming.       “      i  ,    uh      --      sorry.      you   guys   have   gotta   start   waking   me   up.      ”

“close your eyes!”   her voice echos through the kitchen the moment that serena walks through,  and rapunzel feels bad for yelling so loudly at her friend.   but it’s worth it,  and she knows it;   one thing she can’t do is lie,  but surprises?   she’s the master of them.    rapunzel scurries toward serena,  gently taking her hands to guide her through the kitchen.    “you can open them at the count of three, okay?”         // @saintslips   + apt4d!

“okay so i’m thinking that we should do one of those dinners again up on the roof.    or if the weather doesn’t hold up then in either one of our kitchens.    we can go all out with the food,  and the desserts,   and we can just play games and have fun,”  she’s thinking out loud but, honestly, the more she thinks of the idea the more of a great one it sounds like.    one of her best, if she’s honest.    “please tell me you’ll make some macaroons.”        // @speciallystrange  + apt4d!

a moment passes as she waits in the hallway,  standing just outside of the neighboring apartment.    rapunzel hasn’t heard from cecelia all day and, while she normally would grow worried, she knows that cecelia’s schedule can be a little hectic.    more than a little,   and definitely more than hectic.    but that’s never stopped her from stopping by,   from checking in.     rapunzel knocks again,  though she doesn’t allow herself to feel impatient and finally, the door opens.    “rough day?” she asks in lieu of a greeting, friendly smile gracing her lips.            // @ceceliaas  + apt4d!

she’s absentmindedly sketching,   as she typically does,   but every so often she glances over toward her friend next to her.   she doesn’t blame her for zoning out and drifting into a half-assed nap,  with the hectic hours she works it must be difficult to even make time to sit outside in the sun on a park bench,  let alone find time for a nap.    her eyes have been drawn back to the sketchbook on her lap as she places some finishing touches on a duck - who’s sadly made it’s way across the park,  but rapunzel considers herself lucky she’s sketched most of it before it even left.  

“i don’t know, cecelia,” she answers with a slightly arched brow as she looks back up to her friend,  pencil resting onto the paper of her nearly finished sketch.   “anyone who knows even half of what you do would absolutely think you’re a superhero.   and who wouldn’t want to be a superhero?”   // @ceceliaas​ from here.
