Thought: diamonds are the most powerful gems in the universe (theoretically) and on top of that have millions of loyal minions. Bubbles can be fragile when attacked from the outside, esp bubbles holding gems, and there's no telling if diamonds could break bubbling themselves anyway bc of OP Diamond Haxx. her fellow lower gems, Rose didn't want to break, but breaking a diamond would make the most strategic sense since they're the enemy generals and the most dangerous and powerful. but idk

This is a very good reason for shattering vs bubbling a diamond, and I will happily accept it, but it is contingent on people realizing that Rose therefore did the exact thing she punished Bismuth for suggesting.

Vees, do you have any resources for writing intersex characters in a respectful and thoughtful way, as a not-intersex writer?

IDK I was going to write a like actual post about this but I’m just so tired at this point. Your ask is good, and I trust you and your writing skill obvs, but I’ve already gotten a doubling down on how my anger proves that I’m a fake intersex or a fake queer or a fake whatever and I’m really quite tired so here’s a thing I wrote on this subject several months ago

Hopefully the advice there is good as a general info thing. If you have more specific questions, pls ask, I feel like I can handle somethign that’s fairly pointed, but this is such a large question, IDK, it’s too much for my current mental state.

Also don’t hesitate to use my intersex stuff tag to act as a springboard for research or concept work, that’s at least part of what it’s there for.

And yeah, this isn’t the first time people have said this about me actually. It has been getting worse in the past few months though. 

The arguments are all really flawed, and based on both a complete misunderstanding of how kiddie porn works as well as a complete misunderstanding of how actual child rape works too. Long story short: homestuck porn doesn’t contribute to child rape, but extreme demonization actually does.

It’s all bullshit, but some of these assholes know how to hit a little too close to home with their hateful garbage.

I blocked Steve and Tony and Bucky and Sam and I literally have no idea what other satelite characters are going to be involved in this. The posters suggested Nat would be there? But I haven’t heard anythign abotu her in months. I have no clue. 

If I just block every single name, like all 25+ of them, my browser will crash and die from the strain of checking that many blacklist options
