Born from a cocoon in the village of Old Home, a young Haibane—a being with a halo and small gray wings—awakens to a world she does not understand without memories of her past. Named Rakka for the dream of falling she had while inside the cocoon, she soon becomes accustomed to life in the strange town.

Rating: 1 (Normal) 

Personal Feelings:  A fun anime if you like a more obscure plot. Haibane Renmai is almost entirely focused on the relationships of a small group of female characters, and the mysterious workings of its world.  An interesting mood piece thats halfway between horror and slice of life.  No sexualization, and some gay undertones between the two main female characters. 

Great soundtrack and 2000′s era animation, especially in its backgrounds.
