Story Summary: Princess Allura of Altea didn’t die in VLD s8. Instead, in saving the multiverse, she became lost in it, crash-landing on an Earth different from the one she knows. She is found by the human Lotor Dalir, who mourns for a dead Allura Singh. But death is not so mysterious when one knows alchemy. And the realm of the dead, where both the human Allura Singh and the alien Emperor Lotor reside, is not as far as it might seem.

Hi, anon! Ahhhhh I assume this is about my recent update to the Apocalypse story? I’m going to assume that’s what this is about. If I’m wrong, please let me know, lol.
About Apocalypse Chapters 1-5: (spoilers beneath the cut)
The entire world has fallen under a sudden, mass bombing that has wiped out most major cities. The Adrenaline Rush cast survived thanks to the man-made island of Olkarion having underground shelters for the city, but the shelter was never meant to support so many thousands of people. Lotor Dalir works with Team Voltron to help build and secure quintessence-based power and communications for the shelter, and in doing so, gets closer with Allura Singh and befriends several others.
Allura Singh breaks her arm trying to defend Merla from some seedy characters, and Lotor compromises himself in order to obtain medication to help Allura with her pain.
Standard apocalypse scenes occur, including scavenging for supplies above ground, bathing in the rain, and sickness spreading fast in the shelter. Lotor finds his cat, Kova, in the debris and is overjoyed that Kova is still alive.
Lotor and Allura struggle with their increasing attraction to one another, which they cannot easily show in the midst of living beside several thousand other people cramped in a shelter. This is an ongoing theme for them, where they try to get closer, only for others to interrupt.
Scavenging in the aboveground works for a time, but Lotor Dalir is hiding a secret. He has been outwardly in remission from Quintessence Toxicity Syndrome since he was a child, but that’s because he has been taking a certain medication every day. Without it, his symptoms begin to reappear, and his nerve pain is enough to severely limit his quality of life.
Lotor’s predicament underscores a massive need throughout the shelter, which is that people don’t have the medications they need to survive.
Allura and team make the decision to travel to Iran, to the Dalir family home, in hopes of scavenging for more supplies and specialized medications, and to also bring back Honerva Dalir, who is a chemist and can synthesize medications and other necessary things for survival.
Zarkon, Keith, Lance, and Shiro all agree to assist Allura and Lotor on this 1,500+ mile journey to get to the Dalir estate. They upfit a few trucks they’d scavenged to help them move faster. But the journey itself is harrowing....
