this one took the longest to find because i enjoy my lyrics gloomy, but i think jukebox the ghost's fred astaire fits the bill quite nicely!

i never really know how underrated an artist is, ever, because i just hear stuff and go, WELL DON'T MIND IF I DO. but the first artist that came to mind was vienna teng and i really enjoy the song never look away :3c

16.- makes me nostalgic

i was going to get some viddy game song in here, to be predictable. but then i came across this old song i've listened to for as long as i've been alive. i think i knew the lyrics to tin tan's bonita before i gained a conscience. mostly, i remember sitting on the floor at parties and hearing like 30 people singing along, and i think that changed me forever??

Before the beginning of 'And every night, I'll be with you', the events of Sonic 06 happened and everyone forgot what happened because canon. Sonic and Elise do still have some remembrance of each other, but it's faint (an instinct) and they are subconsciously mirroring each other in the process. Circumstance prevents Sonic from coming back to Soleanna to remeet Elise. Silver and Saga (an OC) were both born in the same era (about a year apart, with Silver being older), and both have powers that are not seen as typical (Silver with his telekinesis + light time travel and Saga with (theoretically) uncontrollable dimension hopping). No one knows why Silver and Saga keep finding each other, but Silver considers her a friend regardless while Saga is secretly relieved that Silver is a waypoint for when she comes back to their dimension.

Also of note: the Duke of Soleanna expired some years before, Soleanna developed the original Wispon blueprint, and Eggman never sent his forces to human cities and settlements during the events of Sonic Forces, just the ones populated by Mobians, so a few human resided places became neutral territory and Soleanna was one of them.
