This is the map in question. The article states that it is in Ottoman Arabic if that's any help. I'm trying to help a friend who would like to incorporate this into a research project on Louisiana he's currently working on at his university. So the focus here is on all of the script in and around what is now the modern state of Louisiana on this map.

Guys, I'm learning!

Last night, I dreamt about Arabic. This morning, I studied Arabic while eating breakfast. Then I did some non-Arabic things. Then I thought about how much Arabic I have to do. After lunch I spent 4 hours doing my Arabic homework. Then I did some more non-Arabic things. I thought about Arabic some. Now I'm finishing my day with more Arabic, and I have Arabic tomorrow at 12:30.
