Xyberfox here with another paint day. So....I lied. I’m not hopping on Nurgle stuff just yet. I’m currently working on the base for my Arachnarok Spider. This is my first real basing project.
I refuse to throw away spare plastic parts, so I created a little outpost for my grots. Big mama spider will rest on the rock in the back
Finished Arachnarok and howdah.
And now, as we continue with my Orcs & Goblins army, my beaauuuutiful Arachnarok. :-) I just love this mini: The gigantic spider, surrounded by smaller spiders, hopping and hooting goblin natives and a so many details you do not know where to look first.
Took a while to paint, but it truly was worth it.
This mini, though its pretty huge and not very mini at all, was made by “Games Workshop” (http://games-workshop.com) and worth every penny you have to invest in.
You can see that I put a few personal touches (the webbed skull with the dancing goblin on top) on her to make her look even cooler.
I have no idea if her rules are good or if her points cost is too high, and I don´t care at all. This thing is so much fun to paint I can´t help myself. :-)

Arachnarok Progress Report 1 - Gobbers
The finished goblin riders for the Arachnarok, not yet mounted on the wooden gantries.
I’ve had my Arachnarok kit for over two years and still haven’t finished it. Every time I start working on it I end up daunted by just how much I have left, so I end up just picking away at parts a few times a year. Recently I’ve begun an attempt to just finish the thing; I’ll see if it lasts to completion this time.
Hi, I saw the post about Van Gogh and romanticizing depression. The whole deal is that some people got it in their heads and perpetuated the idea that he was eating a bright color of paint so he'd be "happy Inside", This promoted phrases along the lines of "find your yellow!" Instead of acknowledging his attempted suicide.
Yeah, but mischaracterizing him in one way is not that much better than doing it another just for the sake of furthering your preferred narrative
