Adeptus Titanicus Knights
I just painted the Adeptus Titanicus Starter Set. Even though it is supposed to be Horus Heresy, I divided the miniatures into Empire vs. Nurgle. So I then obviously had to nuglefy some of the miniatures. This right here are the two Knights. Should be obvious, what side they are on. ;-)
And now for my biggest Diorama yet. This is a Witcher Diorama that I thought of as a christmas present for one of my brothers.
The idea was, a Dryad was controlling a small local forest. She was in a typical symbiotic relationship with the villages of the surrounding area. Then a Leshy moved into the forest. He started to corrupt the local fauna and slowly took the forest over. He drove the Dryad into hiding and started killing villagers. Then the villagers put some money together to buy the services of a Witcher to rid them of the monster in the forest. The white Wolf, Gerald of Rivia responded. The diorama shows the big showdown between the Leshy and Gerald.
In the background the Dryad is eagerly watching the fight and tries to help Gerald with the small magic she has. Gerald does not know that the Dyrad is even there, but she is really happy about the fact that he is fighting her enemy.
All the miniatures were 3d printed by diverse sellers on etsy.
I hope you all like my Diorama as much as I. :-) It was a monster project, and I am happy with how it turned out.
And finally a new post from me. Yes I have been painting throughout the year, but I just completely forgot to post anything. Why? Because being a father of 4 children, while 2 of them are handicapped is a lot of work. I get to paint sometimes, but posting it online is something that I tend to forget at the moment.
Anyway, these cool little miniature up there are from the Unmatched gaming system. This was a painting commission by a friend of mine and I feel like the minis came out pretty well.

Continuing with the commission I did for one of my friends. He got the tabletop game “Namiji” via Kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/funforge/namiji-the-next-chapter-in-the-tokaido-universe?lang=de). Well the paintjob of the minis was not to his liking and so he gave those 10 little ships to me. This is the one called “Yurei” (what ever that means^^). The difference should be obvious. First the artwork, then the grim reality and finally my painted version. :-)
This was the ship with the most brittle mast. I actually broke off the moment I took the ship out of the box. So here too, I had to strengthen the mast with a steel wire.
Continuing with the commission I did for one of my friends. He got the tabletop game “Namiji” via Kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/funforge/namiji-the-next-chapter-in-the-tokaido-universe?lang=de). Well the paintjob of the minis was not to his liking and so he gave those 10 little ships to me. This is the one called “Hanei” (what ever that means^^). The difference should be obvious. First the artwork, then the grim reality and finally my painted version. :-)
I could not physically paint all the detailed symbols on the flags. The minis are somewhere between 2 -3 cm all in all. There might be people out there that can paint 1/10 of a millimeter, but I sure cant! :D

Tried to give the fish lamps a more "fishy" look by drybrushing them with a white silver.

I had a lot of fun painting these minis. Those Primaris guys are much more detailed then I had orginally thought.
Anyway tried to be as close to the cover art as I could with that set.
It was, of course, created by "Games Workshop" (www.games-workshop.com).

The answer is: The otygh. The perfect biological waste management system. It eats everything, is really dumb and eats absolutely everything. Also its really dumb. I think you get my drift.

Sorry for the long pause, but I have been sick quite a lot lately. Did not get to paint a lot in that time and totally forgot to post stuff. Anyway, these are my two new lurkers. Its not the most detailed paintjob but more than just useable for DnD encounters. Took about 2 hours for both of them. The one with the big eye was made by "Wizkids" (https://shop.wizkids.com) and the other one was made by "Reaper Miniatures" (https://www.reapermini.com) and is part of the Bones collection.
I am going to post a lot of DnD stuff in the coming weeks. Thing is, that I am preparing for a new campaign and suddenly need a huge amount of new minis, so I am having my schedule full with new stuff to paint. :-) Hope you all are having a great autum and are not as sick as I am. :-)
And now for two different terrain pieces. Those are my new portals. The first was 3d printed with a simple PLA printer and then of course painted. The second one I bought somewhere. Tragically I cant recall where that was. But I know one thing for sure: I will find good use for them. :-)
