Titan Class Assignment #1 - Araminta Ebert
Araminta had done a good job of not getting soaked in the rain. Not only had she arrived a little late, so that the door was already being opened when she got there, but since she had a habit of not wearing her jacket she'd instead used it to cover her head so that she wouldn't get wet. This also kept her notebook completely dry, though she almost dumped the crayons in her coat pocket into the mud.
Green, red, brown, blue... she thought to herself, Didn't lose any.
Looking up at the black board, she read over the message. It seemed their only job today was cleaning their desks. Great. Min hated cleaning. But instead of complaining, she merely let out a heavy sigh and dropped her jack on the back of her chair. It was better to get things like this over with.
Though it took her longer than the others, Min wound up with a clean desk in the end. Clean, as in dust free. The arrangement of her things on the desk could hardly be considered clean. She'd put her crayons on the desk to dry, and initially stacked her notebook with the textbooks. But that hadn't lasted long, and now her papers were strewn about underneath the second textbook which she'd opened to look at. It was really a miracle she hadn't knocked something onto the floor.
