*jolts up* huh? Oh, sorry, got distracted thinking about the relationship of Arazni and Iomedae, a demigod and her champion. A warrior whose company got her goddess tortured, killed, and bound to a millennium of servitude as a lich. When she heard thier master was dead, never even trying to save her, she broke free as a goddess of the abused. Not only had her old patron immediately replaced her with Iomedae, Iomedae was living the dream. Victories and glory, passed trials to become a goddess of Honor, and when thier old master died all his followers just went to her because everyone loves her. Top 20 gods in the realm, that simple. She wants to feel proud, and part of her does. She logically knows that her old friend shouldn't have to suffer like she did. But that doesn't make the bitterness leave. Even her herald, one of the few she allows near, was Iomedae's herald first. His story was not unlike her own, but Iomedae actually saved him. And he left? Or did she send him? Did she let him leave because she knew she needed a friend? Only 4 others had even gotten on ok terms with her since divine apotheosis. Was this her meddling, was he a spy?...He weeps silently, when he thinks he's alone. He doesn't need to tell her, she trusts him. At least, as much as she can anymore. Iomedae has spent hundreds of years trying to fix past mistakes, she wants so badly to settle the debt. But other gods have poisoned that well. The ones who knew her turned thier back on her, pitying her "blasphemous form". The rest she hates for never stepping in, she lets her herald handle them. She's busy vetting wayward outcasts who wander in looking to aid her, as well as answering prayers herself...while keeping an eye on the exits. She is slowly healing! The undeath fading as the wounds scar over. Iomedae wants to help her! She knows she can't.
The two adventurers turned gods, thier lives intertwined. They sit "at a standstill, cautiously watching each other across a graveyard of bitter history and half healed wounds." (Divine Mysteries, page 41) Come on Paizo, I know you already made 3 of the big 20 a sapphic battle throuple, but I want more! Where's the painful slowburn yuri as physical, spiritual, metaphorical, and literal wounds clash and mix and partially heal (but are never the same)? Waaait, I get it, you left it up in the air so every table can make thier own to thrust onto thier players, upping the amount overall! clever! Still workshopping ideas for my own though, I swear I gotta do everything around here. Surely others see the vision right? Like yeah it can be as peers and friends and I'd accept it, overall I just want them to be happy. But. but. what if they also got sapphic about it. Have you considered this? Continue doing so.
EDIT: OMG RIGHT THIS IS HOW THEY LOOK
