Henry can’t help smiling as Alex has taken over the kitchen. It’s a sign of how happy and comfortable he is on the yacht, since he’s only ever been this relaxed at the Lake House and it’s beautiful.
Which is why he leans in the doorway of the kitchen, admiring him quietly. He could almost imagine a life together just like Alex had written about in their emails or teased about teaching Henry to cook, and honestly, he’s much happier just watching Alex dance around and cook than learning anything.
“Are you staring at me?” Alex teases as he adds some spice to whatever dish he’s making that’s on the stove.
“No, I am admiring you,” Henry counters. “You look so happy when you cook.”
