TURTLE
SO I liked Turtle’s character in the books he was a hero who desperately didn’t want to be a hero he wants to be on the sideline writing the stories about it
His arc will stay relatively the same except I might have him look up to Tsunami like he adores her
He thinks she is so cool but he doesn’t believe he can be her
Also Turtle is in a qpr with Pike
He met Pike when he was chosen at a young age to be Anemone’s bodyguard and they bonded
I like to think that when Gil was around Coral wasn’t too protective over Anemone and let her play with the boys so Pike tagged along and Turtle liked his company
Since it’s a spectrum I’d like to think that Pike and Turtle don’t do a lot of couple stuff but they like laying together and talking they are verbally affectionate but they wouldn’t kiss or anything more than like holding hands?? (Can dragons even kiss?? Ig just human affection they wouldn’t go beyond hand holding)
Turtle bonded with Umber he thought Umber was nice and he liked hearing his stories from the war it also helped Umber get it off his chest
Turtle’s book would be relatively the same?? Darkstalker is released and building the Nightwing kingdom except Turtle doesn’t have a crush on Kinkajou so there isn’t a weird spell thing
But I want to bring up Corals horror when Turtle arrives in the bubble garden
The ghost of her husband coming back to haunt her but it’s not her husband he’s long gone and instead it’s the child she neglected
She tries to hold him but he stops her
He’s longed for her love for so long literally his entire life he just wanted her to look his way and smile but she had taken too long and he wasn’t that same little dragonet desperately holding up his story for her to read
He’d spent the last few months being listened to and appreciated he knows what love feels like and he won’t settle for Coral’s bare minimum affection
His fight with Anemone is the same he tells her the truth about her animus powers and she snaps and attacks him
But since Turtle didn’t really use his powers and Anemone trained for war she would easily overpower him
But seeing Turtle covered in blood on the sand would snap something in her and remind her of Whirlpool and she’d run away
QIBLI
Qibli spends his whole life feeling less than he is less than his brother and sister he is less than his mother
He’s especially treated as less because he is disabled
After an attack from his siblings when he was little Qibli’s tail was injured and can’t produce as much venom the most damage he can do is a bit of a sting when is venom is injected
Then Thorn takes him in and finally someone treats him like he belongs like he is special (also she teaches him the punk ways because baby punk Qibli lives in my heart thanks to @chow0w )
But he knows Thorn’s heart will always belong to her lost dragonet and he can never take that place no matter how hard he tries
So when Sunny returns and he watches their tearful reunion Qibli knows his time with Thorn is limited
But then Thorn introduces him as Sunny’s little brother
Qibli immediatly remembers his life before and how his siblings tormented him and the nights he spent sleeping with a dagger under his pillow incase they decided to finally get rid of him
But Sunny grins at him the biggest smile he’d ever seen and she throws her wings around him yelling about always wanting a little brother
And finally Qibli realizes he’s safe and he has a family and despite being bigger than Sunny he will be spoiled for the rest of his life because he is her “tiny itty bitty little baby brother”
When Thorn becomes queen the other sandwings call Qibli “Prince” which he finds odd and tries to get them to stop he doesn’t want to be royalty
But the sandwings at JMA treat him like their leader and he can’t get them to stop so he decides to spend time with the stuck up icewing prince instead
He likes how Winter’s spines rattle when Qibli gets close and he notices that when Winter growls at him it’s clearly with half his energy
He notices that Winter spends a lot of time drawing and when Qibli asks about it Winter reluctantly lets him lay beside him and talks about his drawings (winter draws his scavengersona)
Winter is the stuck up prince he’s put together and neat and his scales are perfect and shiny
Qibli is a punk he wears dramatic eyeliner and a lot of spikes and I like to think that sandwings dye their frills so the end of his frill is red
Literally he was a punk he did ballet
I love them
Qibli begs Winter to try out punk make up so Qibli spends like an hour giving Winter a punk makeover
ALSO Qibli has like a bad person sense from growing up with his siblings he just knows when someone has bad intentions
So when Darkstalker comes back the spelled part of his mind is saying Darkstalker is so charming and harmless but the other half KNOWS this guy is BAD BAD BAD EW BAD
Also when Darkstalker shows Qibli their future if he decides to be an animus Qibli denies it obviously because he isn’t siding with big evil genocidal dragon but also because in that future Winter wasn’t there
He doesn’t care how much power he’s being offered he can’t imagine being happy without Winter
Qibli and Winter would border on like “Will they won’t they” until book 14 where Winter volunteers to go to Pantala and Qibli FREAKS then Qibli is chosen to go and Winter FREAKS
And poor Snowfall has to sit there just 😐 while her stupid cousin and his dumb boyfriend finally confess
CARNELIAN
Since Carnelian and Kinkajou don’t get actual books these will be shorter but they will probably get a prologue and epilogue pov
Carnelian is a child soldier she lied about her age to enlist in the Skywing military and she comes from a small family not noble AT ALL so she wanted to work her way up the ranks and make life better for her family
She is big for her age so no one really questioned it thankfully
She became a solider when she was like 4??
But before she became a soldier when she was living with her parents she met Peril who was rebelling against Scarlet and ran away
Carnelian and Peril were friends for like three days before Peril got sick from the poison Scarlet put in her food before she left and Peril went back to Scarlet
Carnelian is completely loyal to Ruby because she saw Scarlet punish her friends by putting them in the arena or on the front lines despite them not being skilled guards yet
She hated going to JMA but then she saw Moon and her mind went
OoOoOooOoo pretty lady
And she was sold
Everyone realizes SOMETHING was up with Darkstalker when Carnelian was all happy and accepting of him
But the spell made them quickly ignore it
She is a sweaty dysfunctional lesbian she has no idea what to do when Moon smiles at her
Leaning towards Moon/Kinkajou/Carnelian
So I think she is annoyed by Kinkajou at first then she learns about the Nightwing island and she respects her
Then Kinkajou gets hurt by Chameleon and her and Moon are SOOO worried for their cute gf
I think Moon and Kinkajou get together first then Carnelian just ends up there too?? None of them really remember them asking Carnelian out but she’s here now and they are NOT complaining
KINKAJOU
KINKAJOU!!! Absolute baby sister energy
She was adopted by Glory and Jambu she is their tiny baby sister and her and Jambu always annoy Glory
This girl genuinely has no insecurities she doesn’t get sad when people call her a lazy rainwing she just gets angry
Like HOW DARE you??? Do you KNOW who she is??? Clearly not
All her friends have their insecurities but my girl is living her best little gremlin life
She bites Winter
She still has nightmares about the Nightwing island tho
Rainwings raise their dragonets together as a village so I imagine some of the rainwings in there helped raise Kinkajou and she watched dragons who took care of her get sick and die
She was also very hesitant around Moon at first same with all nightwings but she tries her best to get past that and learn about who they really are
She is a lot more open with her affection towards Moon compared to Carnelian
When Carnelian joins their relationship Kinkajou is always hanging on her
She just chills sitting on Carnelian’s back and is always hugging her

FINALLY I’M DONE!!! Notes for arc 3 and the legends books will be done in like 5 months idk at this point
so like back in June last year I did a moonwatcher headshot and the other day I redid it (when I drew the of headshot I'd just started doing wof fanart and thought I HAD to draw in Mike Holmes' style. ) I'm really happy with both and both we're drawn WITHOUT a stylus
