Y'think robots are capable of feelin' emotions? Not all o' them, some of them are dumb as rocks, but there's this odd fella I met a good while back in Goodsprings, robot by the name of Victor. Seemed to have his own thoughts and feelings just fine. But the line between just some programmin' and really feelin' is a confusing one.

Its a very fine line that I don't think I have much say on. I'm not an engineer. I am sure there are more qualified people who have a better sense on that.

As Victor, I've met him. He's got as much as a personality as any person. He's a very interesting Securitron.

Being a man of science, do you have any theories on the process of ghoulification?

Oh, I have quite a few theories, actually. It helps that Raul talks with me about it while he tinkers. He believes his was kickstarted when his body was burned after the bombs dropped. So i believe maybe ghoulification can be started by an injury. Your body will then try to heal that injury, but because of the amount of radiation, something happens in your cells that gets the job wrong, causing your skin cells react. I don't have exacts.

Radiation is such a weird and horrifying thing. And again, I think Raul for giving me a timeline on his own ghoulification. I hope to hear from more ghouls who wish to share their own stories. But for now that's what I have until I have more testimonies.

With how many things I've seen that courier lugging into the Strip some days, they've probably got something that could fix up the equipment you're talking about, right?

Knowing them, they probably could fix it. I just... haven't asked yet. I probably should have brought it up to them by now.

How often do you have to repair or replace your glasses? Can't be easy needing prescription lenses while getting dragged into shootouts.

It's not easy. Its actually a miracle my current lenses aren't more scratched than they are. Most damage is to the frames about 75% of the time. So i just find new frames that are as close as possible and fit them together.

When the lenses do finally shatter, which has happened only one other time, I have had to find another store and hope they had some on hand that hasn't been looted already.

I've thought about learning how to make glasses for my own sake, but I am not sure if all the equipment still works.

I'm not the one who paid me! Instead of taking it out on the person who benefited, maybe advocate for everyone to be treated equally and to get the same treatment!

How do YOU feel about Boone calling you "Gannon"?

I think its a military thing.. He does it to everyone who has a known last name. So I just let it be.

But for about the first month of us meeting, I did try to get him to call me Arcade with no luck.
