I love that quote. I'll have to see if I can find a copy of Kokoro; it sounds like something I'd enjoy.

Kokoro was a great book! I loved it, Soseki has a way with words that make a lot of the stuff his characters say really quotable and poetry perfect. I can see why he’s Renji’s favourite author, hahaha.

Madrid: Describe your aesthetic?

Usually dark colours with metallic accents! I’m also a huge fan of paisley and flowery print, and graphic-tees, for clothes. Mmmm, lots of vivid, deep colours all blending together like in watercolour, beautiful vistas, sunset pictures, closeup details of really elaborate and ornate jewellery and clothing. Lots of sparkly, shiny things, tempered by the influence of nature, or something. Also, those trippy Escher style drawings that are soft and confusingly so? It’s really clectic ;’) I like a lot of things.

Cairo: What’s your favourite quote?

Mmm, There’s a quote from Kokero, Natsume Soseki, and he says,

“I believe that words uttered in passion contain a greater living truth than do those words which express thoughts rationally conceived. It is blood that moves the body. Words are not meant to stir the air only: they are capable of moving greater things.”

I really believe in that. Words have power because they invoke emotion and draw upon emotion and make us feel something. Rational thinking has its place as well, and it’s a very important place too, because without rationality, we would never have risen to the heights that we have. But with rationality alone, we would no longer be human.

I wasn’t really hungry, I think I’m just pms-ing. Which means new pajamas are a no-go, even if it wasn’t a bajillion degrees outside so I’m not even wearing pants.

I've still got it installed but I unticked all the options & disabled it and that fixed the issue for me but according to the xkit support blog it still seems to be an issue for people
