Random Rant specifically about skillset/badass ability’s across multiple DC characters! (I will be all over the place so most likely won’t tag all of them)

So something to keep in mind is across the board every single character is a combination of the best fighters/highly trained soldier to ever exist in our world then multiple it by a million. Our best is nothing to their best if that makes sense.

Comparing really any skill set is splitting hairs we will never see a full on all out fight in reference to Heroes because they are holding back. THEY DO NOT KILL PEOPLE!

A discussion I always am invested in is the Marksman one. I love firearms and archery once you are able to see the logistics the competence well it’s hot as fuck.

Deadshot is literally known as the man who never misses. To the point that if someone lives it’s because he decided it they did. Deathstroke is next, but he is technically a meta and his overall skill set makes it so even if he’s not the best at one thing he’s still the deadliest.

Roy Harper is said to be even better than Oliver Queen who has given Mr. Never Misses a run for his money but you can make an argument that Fatherly pride is taking the front seat so of course he thinks his baby is the best.

His baby though is really fucking good sooo fucking good.

Now I am 100% a fan of the Bats those are my favorite little fuckers they are NOT though winning this competition. Jason Todd, yes impressive, yes would beat so many assholes he is not Roy Harper, Oliver Queen, or Floyd Lawton.

In my experience (this is my personal experience) a gun requires less accuracy than an arrow. You can fire off center and still be accurate enough that’s not the game with archery. Someone who does archery can also usually fire a gun with the same precision, but if you give a bow to someone only trained in firearms well I wouldn’t want to bet my life on it. Also there is so much muscle, skill and other random things archers need to master in order to do it that firearms doesn’t need.

Also specifically the Marksmen argument means the other skills that might put certain characters ahead are irrelevant being able to dig out of a coffin drunk and blind is cool but not needed.

In conclusion Roy Harper, Oliver Queen and Floyd Lawton are the shit and if I see even a hint of a Bat logo you are a lying, liar, who lies.

(Ra’s Al Ghul, Lady Shiva and people on that section are left out on purpose they can kill people they are amazing are killing people but again specifically Marksmen isn’t where they excel. Could they win? Maybe? Probably? But it’s not their main thing.)
