ok so i started watching tsurune, which is a sports anime based on an archery club, and i just appreciate it so much. like damn target panic really is like that and is a real struggle that i still have to deal with

“Want to see a cool archery trick?” Ches asked, not even waiting for the person beside her to respond before she scales the tree beside her with her bow, situating her thigh into the gap where the thick limb of the tree split itself into branches before she leans backward, her hair falling towards the ground as she dangles upside down from the tree. “I’m going to shoot that target.” She gestures to the soft target she’d set up in her backyard before she reaches for an arrow out of her quiver. She takes a deep breath, focusing on the target in front of her as she prepares to shoot, adjusting her grip a bit as she nocks the arrow. And after a few seconds, she lets it fly - a huge grin on her lips as the arrow pierces its target. 

“Told you it was a cool trick.” She said, reaching up to grab hold of the tree branch, pulling herself up to drop out of the tree - landing on her feet. “You want to try?”

“No, I haven’t seen Lucielle, go ask Ian.” Ches doesn’t even glance towards Avery when she hears someone come up behind her with an arrow nocked, her focus on the target before she takes another deep breath and lets the arrow fly. She only turns to look at her friends once it’s embedded into the target, pausing her practice to see what she was really after. “So, what’s up? Don’t tell me Emmett spilled we were discussing searching for Waitoreke when he comes to visit. You’re invited, I swear, I was just waiting to mention it.” She reaches back for another arrow, turning towards the target and taking another deep breath, holding it as she nocks the arrow again and releasing the two at the same time. “I’m multi-tasking today, Katniss, forgive me.”

What game or movie universe would you most like to live in?

“The Marvel Comics universe, but I’d want to bring Barton so we can confuse everyone with two additional Hawkeyes.” ( @in-the-dark-trees-shadow )

If you were stuck on a deserted island, and you can have one thing, but as much of that thing as you could need, what would you have? (You can't choose a means of transportation, that's against the rules.)

“A genie lamp that contains exactly three wishes. Once I have indoor plumbing and my bow back via the magic of this is a stupid game, who’d want to get off the island really?”

“Once or twice, but they’re not really my thing, unless you’re incorrectly classing bows as guns - in which case, my bow is my one true love so what do you think?”
