#repost • @parametric.architecture Bricks play an essential role in the Tribeca historic district of New York City, where @systemarchitects designed The Unhistoric Townhouse, a five-story townhouse with a twisting brick façade for a family of four. The construction, however, is just one room deep, with the most significant area on the side facing the street. The structural masonry facade creates a new urban single-family home by combining digital technology and traditional craftsmanship.
