So, given Twitter's...everything, you might want to save your fave twitter threads for future personal enjoyment.
Here's a super easy way you can do that.
Get the Twitter Print Styles addon for Firefox https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/twitter-print-styles/ or clickable link.
Open the Twitter thread you want to save.
Scroll down until you find the tweet in the thread with the fewest number of replies (shown next to the little speech bubble on the bottom left of each tweet) - this will often be the second in a smallish/less popular thread; in a larger/popular thread, just find the one with the smallest number.
Click that tweet.
Run the Twitter Print Styles addon (there should be an icon on your toolbar from when you installed it).
Watch it scroll down the page and open the entire thread in a clean printable form in a new window or tab - if you have popups blocked, Firefox should give you a message saying ''popups blocked. Allow?' - allow them from twitter.com.
Switch to the new tab/window and print to PDF.
Save the PDF somewhere you can find it again.
Repeat from 2 until you hit the rate limit - you'll know you're there because replies won't load and the addon will give you a popup error message.
If you don't have an adblocker, I'd install one before you start (uBlock Origin is IMO the best), as I don't know if the print styles addon strips out the ads.
If you use Chrome: there is a Twitter Print Styles addon by the same author for Chrome - I've never used it because Chrome (and Google) are the devil, but you can find it here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/twitter-print-styles/bepilablapiogeghmjiopiaoikgdcgjo or clickable link.
[Part of my job is assisting with access to, and retention of, public records, so I put these instructions together for work. Thought they might be useful to other people!]
