Joli stepped through the portal her mother had made to Karazhan. She looked around for her uncle and couldn't see him so she instructed the Kul Tiran laborers to wait where they had arrived until she had found the man. She hadn't really seen her uncle for a while now, so it'd be good to see him again.

"Uncle Khadgar?" she called as she stepped into one of the rooms, smiling when she saw him, "There you are! Mom sent me to help you clean up this place. She also said that if you didn't accept that the next person she's going to port over is Ciel." The girl smiled and hugged her uncle. "And I wouldn't tempt Mom. She'll do it. She also sent over some guys to help out, too."

yep....how helplessness could have made him yearn for more, still makes him yearn for more but that ultimately, he learned at a great price the limits of unwanted power

it’s pretty great to see that side of his character because hope can get only get you this far after that if determination fails, and he has seen way too much to not be haunted by every alternatives

with power comes solitude...and solitude is what kills mages
