Advice for geologist at any level of career.

Consider taking a GIS/ArcMap course.

While I’ll post about it not responding and etc on my personal tumblr, it is one of the future tools of geology.

Employers like see GIS skill on resumes. It will give you an advantage.

Any of you use ArcMap, Agisoft, or ENVI? If so, what PC build do you have? I’m looking to update my six year old system and I’ve got a big project to do this winter break.
