Fuck this book! Faraday deserves better and everyone can fight me on it. I need to go cry in a corner now.

He deserves Marie and they deserve their happy ever after. And Jerry and Grayson deserve happiness, and Rand and Tiger deserve better, and citra and Rowan! I wanted a happy ending. Marie and Michael... they are my OTP out of this series and I fucking need them together.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What an amazing end to one of my all time favorites series!! ⁣ ⁣ I remember a few years ago when I first heard the premise of Scythe by @nealshusterman . . . I was immediately intrigued, but I had no idea what to expect. This book grabbed a hold of me and has not let go. I have been obsessed ever since. ⁣ ⁣ The Toll is an incredible conclusion to the Arc of the Scythe series. The Toll was totally unexpected! The story went in directions I never imagined. Shusterman’s storytelling is just incredible. ⁣ ⁣ The Arc of the Scythe trilogy is one of the best series out there. The premise is unique and totally captivating. These books have taken me on an intense rollercoaster ride full of shock and emotion. It’s hard to believe it’s over. Yesterday I finished Scythe by Neal Shusterman and LOVED it!!!! This book is set in a futuristic world where everything that there is to know is known and everyone is immortal. There is no disease, hunger, people can reverse their age and all of that good stuff so to help control the population, Scythes were created to basically do sanctioned killings. This follows Citra and Rowan as they are chosen to be apprentices to a Scythe and how they unravel the mystery of the Scythedom. This book is super imaginative and complex. There isn’t a lot of action because a lot of it is just learning to navigate Scythedom and the Thunderhead but it is so interesting and there are so many twists that I didn’t see coming that really keep the story moving. This book really looks at human behavior as immortals and as this beings of death and it provides some interesting commentary on human nature. Overall, this is a 5/5 star read for me and I’m excited to move on to the sequel, Thunderhead, which thanks to my fiancé I already have.
