rotating the idea in my head that Jeremiah Arkham and Jonathan Crane are constant parallels and the idea of them being symbolized as a pigeon and crow (respectively) makes me ILL

"oh but what about dove and crow???" NO, pigeon and crow. Jeremiah is more pigeon than dove imo, pigeons symbolize protection over peace (which I think is more fitting) and also the greys, browns, and purplish green hues of a pigeon fits the man more than the gentle warm toned whites of a dove. Similarly, crows don't attack pigeons as often, it's more common to see a crow bother or scare off a pigeon than to intentionally harm it for personal gain.

ooohhh yeah it's all coming together, their parallels make my head spin.
