In relation to seeing VM performances in the early stages, have you seen the (grainy, blurry) Canton exhibition of HIp HIp? The usual YouTube URL and P-WAANjLLMw (or search their names and Canton exhibition).

I had seen it, yes… but not in a long time.  Thanks for the reminder!  :)

There's debug options, hidden inside MotorStorm: Arctic Edge, both psp and ps2 versions. PS2 version even has little more, some unused online features. Nothing special at all, unfortunately. Display mode - 4*3 or wide, didn't work for me. Mode - Trial, Ghost, Race, Split. PSP version gets here many freezes, maybe unused modes. Vehicle - choose from 24 cars. Race - choose from 12 tracks. Direction - upward, downward.
