aw i'm sorry those people were so disrespectful of your work and so rude to you :( idk every time i do that, the person tells me they didn't mean to steal it and found it on another website but i'm sorry you had to deal with rude people :/ they should never repost in the first place even if they find the gifs on other websites but idk some people don't even think about it and it's so weird!! like, it's obvious that those gifs were made by someone, and posting them again is stupid

thank u chiara :( just now i asked a person to take down my gifs from their blog and fortunately they’re polite and yeah they found them on other sites :/ btw im glad that the ppl u (and my other mutuals) deal with are mostly nice, its really frustrating when the rude ones bitch at u and refuse to take down ur stuff. like? yeah u hate me for asking u to be a decent person now and yet u feel the need to keep using my work? where has ur dignity gone?

also i’ve heard ppl said that some reposters in the facebook phandom were like ‘i asked the person who (re)posted this edit before me and they said there’s no owner so i dont think i have to credit anyone!! also this edit is posted literally everywhere so its not my problem!! by the way i dont understand why its a big deal bc if we dont repost how do we run our facebook fanpages??’ this logic is just beyond me… idk how they have the courage to run fanpages with their real names…

but yeah apart of those who like to justify reposting, i think sometimes ppl just dont think through before they post something. like if u dont make gifs it might not be that obvious that behind a gif theres an actual human putting actual time and effort in it (0 salt in this sentence i swear).

sometimes i just don’t understand how people can’t recognise certain gifmakers? like it’s always so obvious when a gif is reposted
