I just gotta say this, I’m reading The Echo Garden by AltraViolet for the first time ever (since I saw fanart of it) and as someone who’s never read the MTMTE or LostLight comics…
I’ve learned SO MUCH information about how the Lost Light works purely from this one fanfic. It’s like I’m learning along with Soundwave. This is awesome. I’ve never understood something so much. It’s like I’m learning the Lost Light for the first time
sighing in resignation and admitting to myself i want to write a fic from the perspective of the deelishus weenie president guy exploring how tak appears through his severely limited perspective and the struggle through iz-human-standard kneecapped cognitive function to recognize something deeper than the surface level cover story of what's going on out of a misguided wholly human attempt to bond with the individual he's been made to recognize as his daughter, who gradually, disconcertingly seems less and less childlike at the same time as his "declining health" means he's conscious for shorter and shorter periods the longer he lets her "take care" of things in his stead
like i'm aware of how thoroughly outlandish and narratively deranged the premise is but i just can't help being compelled by the potential horror of having no choice in being the "dumb one" who by nature doesn't matter and doesn't realize the difference between themselves and the people who do
Who are you mod? I’m always quite fascinated by the way you engage with fandom and the way you talk about certain topics. Of course you don’t have to share but what are you doing in your life? Like what kinda of job do you have and how old are you? Bc you come off so intellectual and aware, I just really wonder what kind of person there is behind this blog. Why are you so interested in Larry/ Harry and Louis?
There's no moderator here - it's just me and my thoughts. I am pretty reticent about aspects of my life for privacy reasons. I'm in my 40s and have quite a few life experiences that are feeding into this.
What drew me to Louis and Harry was the fantasy of young queer love that I had missed out on. What keeps me here is that I really enjoy using this as a springboard to explore the world.
Watching MrHappy streaming Ultimate prog and it absolutely boggles my mind.
He’s doing all these mechanics and interacting with chat and doing callouts and I know it’s the sort of thing that comes with practice and everything, but that he can multitask like that is amazing, during content that is incredibly intense.
I couldn’t do that shit if I was concentrating lol.
Interesting to watch though...

There is something oddly attractive about a scrawny guy with blue eyes who looks like he's been drinking since 6 am. But maybe that's just me.
