You are just doing your usual thing, browsing through ao3 in search of a new fic to quench your thirst, and you come upon a fic that sounds promising.

But there is a tag that isn't really your thing and now you are kinda unsure if you should click on the story.

Until you glimpse the author's name and suddenly you are so relieved because "Oh them! I know this author. I trust this author! Even with this Tag that I would usually avoid, *this* author will write it in a way that I can connect with. I can read this story with no fear in my heart."

And I think that’s beautiful.
