I’m a little down tonight—although I knew it was coming, I wasn’t quite prepared for the Geekdom House website, at which many of my articles posted, to close down for an indeterminate amount of time. Going through my old articles there before it shut down reminded me that I can be a pretty good writer when I put forth the effort (and with the assistance of a great editor). My articles on Beneath the Tangles have always been more about quantity than quality, but I’m motivated to try harder and develop pieces of which I can be proud. So maybe something good will arise from a day thats brought me no small measure of sadness.
