Reason
All of the stars have a reason A reason to shine I need a reason I thought I had a few But when The Sun went down They were all gone Leaving me to be forgotten Wondering though the night alone I need a reason The constellations are telling stories I can no longer understand They’ve moved Shuffled Painting a new picture in the sky I need a reason I tried asking The Moon for one There was silence on its end The Moon has never not answered me It just shined down with its pale light Mocking me I need a reason The wind greeted me like an old friend Surrounding me with its icy presence It didn’t want me to be alone Not seeing how it started to suffocate me I need a reason to need me
