@bloodied-dagger hey so remeber when I said we were working on Audacity in my Digital Arts class...... Well I finished the movie trailer thing we were doing.........
Arrrrrrggggggghhhhh the Yugioh movie! That MOVIE! It felt like such a good ending to the original series. Spoilers under the cut-
So I really loved the symbolism of the ending? Yugi giving Kaiba Monster Reborn then countering it, as a call back to his duel with the Pharoah, to try and tell him that that which is dead should stay dead. And then Kaiba having the trap card on the last attack (that he would have activated had things not gone wrong) showing how Kaiba refuses to accept Atem is beyond his reach, and will continue to fight.
Then the Pharoah summoning Mahad in order to defeat the last remnants of the Millennium Ring, coming full circle after Thief King Bakura killed Mahad in the first place. It just felt... so right (even if I didn’t get to hear Dan Green’s sexy Atem voice in that final sequence).
Then finally Kaiba going into the afterlife to duel Atem, his way of moving on in a different way to the others, finally going after his goal. It was a beautiful way to continue their rivalry and friendship.
Also the remix of Kaiba’s techno theme was INCREDIBLE.
i'm debating applying for this job that pays $10 more than i'm making now because ~money~ but it's not a career job (it's just the same thing/less than i'm doing now) and idk if i want to go through the effort of an interview just to decide to turn down a position bc i 1) don't want an hour commute and 2) don't want to ruin my chances of furthering my career by pigeonholing myself in this position-level. but also....money....but also career??? ugh. i wish capitalism would slow down so i didn't have to worry about being able to afford to live.
my mum moved to the bush in victoria 2 days ago and now she is trapped in her house because out of control bushfires have closed the roads and I asked if she was safe and all she said is there is a lake down the road they will jump in if things get bad
