I literally hit post comment right after AO3 went down so got the rudest jumpscare ever (not again!!!). Must thank my back button for still working so I could save the comment for later (whenever this damn site comes back up). I’ll be back for you WSWS!😤 @johnconstantius
Wait, what...??
So last night I'm watching Leverage: Redemption, The Jackal Job, for like the 100th time and when the bad guy gets shot with the Turlington Pistol (a solid gold six-shooter given to Teddy Roosevelt in 1902 for those who don't know), it suddenly struck me: Who loaded that gun? WHEN was it loaded? Did Turlington give Teddy Roosevelt a loaded gun?? Did Teddy Roosevelt load the gun? And why? Who was he expecting to shoot with a solid gold gun?? Would a solid gold gun even shoot properly? Wouldn't it explode or something? Gold isn't that hard. And for over 120 years its been sitting in its case, fully loaded, and no one ever bothered to check it to make sure it wasn't loaded?? Like, WTH??
That is all.
i dislike the feeling watching the train i need to catch go by because i was stuck in a car-centric intersection
made zuko fanart!!!!!
The objective is to win
I mean, technically, he's a program not an actual boy. But it's nice to see Myungha weighing the issues of Yeowoon's happiness against proper behaviour.
Because, on one hand, he knows that he wants Yeowoon to be happy, but on the other hand he knows that it's inappropriate to encourage and reciprocate a teenager's crush.
At this point, Myungha's feelings aren't important (to him). Obviously, he cares about Yeowoon. He'd do anything for our tall bean. But even though he doesn't think it's right to do this, it's a game. He has to win. He has to see this as more than what's right or wrong. The objective is to make Yeowoon happy.
Like any other game.
After all, if the game said "kill every enemy," he'd do it to win. But this time, he's been asked to make Yeowoon happy. Plus, there's the added bonus that he does care enough about Yeowoon to actually want him happy.
So regardless of whether or not it's right, Myungha will do it. Because it's an objective. But also because Yeowoon is his favorite person.
Show me the round bird plushy, now!!!
Ahaha, here you go!
It was for our art and crafts class, where teacher basically told us to create whatever for the final grade xD I am serious. I decided to make a plushie. Made several mistakes on the way because I kept misunderstanding how to move the print to the fabric and kept accidentally mirroring it!
Fun fact - I still have this fabric! I'll tell you more - the pattern inspired this dress for my old OC, Maybell:
All in all, that class was fun.... almost. I dreaded the fact that they had a split, where girls had a class for sewing and knitting and even cooking, but boys had a class for carving wood, and creating and putting together and fixing furniture, learning how to use tools etc. Basically, in where I live, art and craft class is actually 'useful life skills' class, but why THE fuck it had to be split? Everyone can learn to both cook + fix their clothes and make furniture + fix broken shit, regardless of gender, so I've always been bitter about cultivation of dependence on another gender like that. Like, it is not just gender stereotypes, but also cultivating heteronormativity, with the idea of families of men and women that can't and should not (!!!) have a skill another has :/ We were only kids! :<
But yeah, you already know that my country is barbaric and backwards-developing. You are looking at the only good thing that came out from that fundamentally wrong class xd
I know that people are going to give Seward more hell for not putting everything together yet but really, considering a) he hasn’t had access to Jonathan’s experiences or his diary and b) Van Helsing won’t just be straight with him for two goddamn minutes, I think he’s taking things RATHER WELL
