It’s coming up on the DST change again this weekend....

So, daylight savings time starts up this weekend in the US.  Time zones all have screwy switch-over rules depending on what part of the world you’re in. 

Unless you’re in one of the saner areas that doesn't do this old method of saving energy on artificial lighting that was originally purposed to conserve fuel for WW1 in Germany (there’s your history fact for the day), expect some wonkiness with events until things settle out.  

The times on Sunday for the Calendar post may be up to an hour off based on your current location’s time zone rules because I goofed up and didn’t have it do DST checking on a per event basis in my post generator.... oops.   

I’ll make some corrections when I have a chance.

Uh-oh. I was poking around at some otome searches and found a few bloggers and socmed accounts I might want to follow, and as I looked over their work and their socials, I started comparing myself to them.

Me to me: RJ, you're sick. You barely manage a normal life. You can't compare yourself to others like this.

Also me to me: Yeah, but, have you considered that perhaps I just suck and I'll never be as talented or amazing as everyone else?

It's so dumb. I don't know why I do this. I can logically point out that I'm doing a lot with my health the way it is, but I'm measuring myself based on goals that I can't realistically achieve, and that's just dumb.

It will work out. It will be fine. I will accomplish great things. I just have to measure at my own pace and abilities rather than what I wish I could manage.
