People tend to tell the truth when they're angry.
Work
So I got a job on thursday an since then I haven't really talked to Alex since School Friday afternoon. I miss him/: I just need to talk to him about this fight with my mom from earlier. Idk I'm just blank.
Arguing (or the lack of...)
Don't get me wrong, I'm quite opinionated. However, I don't feel the need to jump down people's throats. I feel that nothing is accomplished that way. I would rather sit down and talk about it and reach a compromise. It's foolish to think everything can be solved by compromises, but I try.
I don't fear confrontation as anyone who knows me knows. And I will not hesitate to express my opinion in a passionate way. However, a screaming match is immature. There is a difference between debating and arguing.
I still am quite defensive and I still consider myself passionate in my positions. However, I've also learned there are other more logical ways.
GREAAAAAT NIGHT.
Argument 1: With Franny. Basically, we texted this kid off Monica's phone to let him know there was a possiblity he was being cheated on. Because, if that were you, you'd wanna know, right? Right. So we did it from her phone so he wouldn't know the number, then Franny eventually got Monica's number and started asking her stuff about it. Then Monica said it was me, so Franny texted me about it. Then I argued about that whole thing, and that she put me in the shittiest mood. Argument 2: With Josh. He's still on that whole, flashing him thing. I'm not. I told him that it made me uncomfortable, so he asked what he could do to make me comfortable about it, etc etc. I said nothing, we debated back and forth. I told him I wasn't letting up, so he was like "it's cool you have morals, not many people do" or something along those lines, and then I said I felt bad, then he signed off and blah. I really wish there was something I could do so I didn't feel as bad. Ugh. I fucking hate stupid arguments. The only positive thing? I'm good at them. I'm good at arguing.
