Both of you never liked being in crowds or in cities so you decide on buying a small cottage up in the thick woods by the reservation where it snows a few months of the year. You love the cozy fireplace and the fact that Arthur really only leaves you when you need food for the week. It's the best way to spend time together no matter what time of year.

Dutch

You buy a large plot of farm land and have a large ranch house on it as well as a plant farm. You might harvest mangos you might not, but that's up to you. Dutch really likes horses so you think of the idea to also have a horse ranch together. Everything from there on goes well as you an make money by selling foods and caring for horses instead of being dangerous outlaws, even though you both agree that when you both were Dutch was at his hottest.

John

You already know where this is going. You get an hidden animal ranch where you tend to cows and chickens, maybe some pigs, but only if you feel like cleaning up extra shit. The reason why its hidden is because both you and John still do dome robbing and killing, but it was more of a 'not wanting to let go of the past' kind of thing. Either way you both enjoy the company you give each other and anytime you can you enjoy admiring him as he yells at the cows.

Sean

We all know that Sean is a bit extra and he is sick of hiding in the woods so you bring up the idea of buying s waterfront house. He loves the idea immediately and begs you to rob a train with him to get enough money to buy one. You enjoy the view every night with him and sooner or later you might have some children running around in your new life.

So, I decided to write a cliché fic inspired by a dream...

It was a booze-induced dream a couple nights ago where my brain decided to replay this clip of Arthur waking up on the beach in Guarma.

I decided to write stuff in my notes so I wouldn’t forget the details and I ended up spending all day typing up stuff.

I guess my brain wanted a RDR2/Little Mermaid crossover. It’s corny, I know. This is just a preview from my notes, so constructive criticism is very appreciated! I’ll post more previews instead of unloading it in one big post. I don’t even know if I’ll actually make it into an actual fic. But I had fun. Hope formatting looks alright. Enjoy!

Arthur wakes up on a sandy shore. The sounds of waves gently coax him to open his eyes. He’s not sure if he’s alive or dead. This couldn’t be heaven or paradise. It’s muggy, and the sun is shining brutally on his exposed skin.

He blinks once, then twice, trying to regain his sight in the bright sunlight. He’s tired and weak, but nonetheless he groggily pushes himself up to sit on the shore.

Is this Cuba? He wonders. How the hell did I get- oh...

For a brief moment after he woke, he forgot about the ship...the fire...screaming to Dutch from where he stood at the bow, watching them paddle on without him, calling his name. He feels his heartbeat race at the recollection, beating at the same frantic pace as it did when he stood there...terrified. He then remembers falling, hitting the water. It felt oddly cold. The large flames on the ship turned into small distorted candlelights, as he drifted further down below the surface. He remembers the sounds of men screaming. The horrible creaking of the ship as it sank into the ocean.

Another sound sparks in his memory. He heard it when he struggled to breach the waters.

What was it?

It was like a squeal, but not like any animal he heard. It was almost...soothing. Like something was singing or humming in an extremely high tune. He felt both calm and frightened at the vocalization.

Probably just the ship, he thought to himself.
