Twice as nice
Twice As Nice is a Grammy Nominated American production and songwriting team, composed of Nicholas Audino, Lewis Hughes, Khaled Romain and Te Whiti Warbrick, based in Los Angeles.[1] The team is notable for their production, composition and songwriting on the songs Needed Me by Rihanna[2], which is RIAA certified 4xPlatinum[3], Wasted by Tiesto featuring Matthew Koma, Promise by Kid Ink[4] featuring Fetty Wap and 'Be Alright' by Ariana Grande[5], amongst others.
Formation and Early Work[edit]
The group was founded in 2009 by Nicholas Audino and Lewis Hughes in Melbourne, Australia. The team got its start writing music for New Zealand outfit 'Smashproof'. After signing a publishing deal with EMI Music Publishing, they set up in New York City before relocating to Los Angeles.
Twice As Nice broke into the American recording industry with the release of their first Billboard top 50 single 'Wasted' by Tiësto and featuring Matthew Koma. They went on to co-write and co-produce the track 'Needed Me' by Rihanna, which was awarded RIAA 4x Platinum certification. In 2015, the producers Khaled Romain and Te Whiti Warbrick (Sickdrumz) were added to the team.
