For the micro prompts - I'd like to request "this was a mistake"
Thank you for the prompt! I call this one, “Three Imperials Move Furniture”
For the fanfic ask meme: I, Q, R,U!
I: Do you have a guilty pleasure in fic (reading or writing)?
Oof. BDSM. /cough
Q: Do you have any discarded scenes/storylines/projects?
Only everywhere. I wrote a whole scene for Heaven by Violence based on a Les Miserables song. Yeah, they sang. It was angstfest. But the thing wouldn’t get out of my head until I put it down, so. Maybe I’ll share it after I get past that point in the main (normal, non-musical) fic, ‘cause it has a plot element I plan to keep.
R: Are there any writers (fanfic or otherwise) you consider an influence?
I read a lot of fanfic, and it all kinda blends together in my brain so I don’t think any one of them can rightly be called an influence over another, but. When I was first starting out I was a big fan of Jennifer Melzer (then under penname Erica North) who wrote an absolutely epic Skyrim fic, among others. I believe that it’s only available on the Wayback Machine, now, which is sad.
As for non-fanficcers, Jenna Moreci’s YT channel is always entertaining, even if I don’t end up following her advice exactly.
U: A pairing you might like to write for, but haven’t tried yet.
In Dragon Age, a Blackwallmance. Can’t think of any for TES.

I turned 35 today so I feel like that counts as "fandom crone" lmao. Also I'm going to lay down and not move. It's a good plan.
Belated happy birthday! Every year I get closer to becoming the swamp witch I am on the inside, so ehh??

I'm sorry you're having a rough time. Take care, dear. I hope things continue to improve. ❤️
Thank you! 🤗 It’s been a weird time in my life, and brain mess doesn’t help it, but I’m getting through~

You’re welcome to tell me all about it! I get excited about D&D stuff.
You’ve opened this can of worms, now lie in it.

How does that even happen lol
I have no idea? I suppose maybe they had a billion tabs open and lost track of which they were on?
ariakitty replied to your post “So there’s this high fantasy book series I’ve been a fan of for a few...”
What's the series called? I'd be interested in reading it :D
Oh gosh, I’m so sorry, I didn’t even see that you commented on this until now! It’s called Fallen Blade by Kelly McCullough and I love it!
The main character is a bisexual (though I should mention he leans toward women, and so far has only had on-screen relationships with women) POC, and most of the cast is lgbt with their relationships very clearly and canonically stated. Much of the cast throughout the series is built of smart, resourceful, and genuinely kickass women, all of whom I adore.
It’s got one of the coolest magic systems I’ve seen in a high fantasy world, with heavy emphasis on familiars. It’s really fuckin cool.
And the series has some of the best and most honest portrayals of addiction and PTSD I’ve seen in a genre that historically doesn’t know how to really treat either of those subjects.
I fucking love these books.
