Aria | K. Shepard
Purgatory. An appropriate name for the club. If the Galaxy was hell and the Citadel was the Oasis in the center of the desert, Purgatory was where the two met. Soldiers would spend their furloughs drinking at private booths, spending more money in a night than they made in a month. The Citadel's residents found their way here to dance the nights away. If a person was lucky they could distract themselves from all the harrowing reports coming in from all news outlets, or the realities of the Reaper threat.
So of course, it made sense that Aria would take up residence here. Made sense that she ruled over Purgatory as she'd ruled over Afterlife- over Omega. The silent god that no one dared approach, and that no one could touch. Except she wasn't here by choice. Like Persephone, stolen away by Hades, she'd been taken from Omega and forced to live somewhere far less welcoming to people of her ... calibre.
Kaylin Shepard sauntered down the stairs, not flanked by her usual crewmates. Even in this place that wasn't her natural habitat, Kaylin had to admit that Aria was a formidable sight. Maybe it was just that they had a past together, but she had a respect for the Asari that she didn't have for many other people. The no-bullshit attitude that they both shared meant that they often shared viewpoints on how things should be handled, which had proven beneficial many times.
Kaylin approached the woman and took a seat on the couch next to her.
"Aria," she said with a nod. "Good to see you again."
ariatheboss started following you
"I don't think we know each other ma'am" he presented a hand to the other with a smile "Nate at your service!"
Time to visit Aria, commander.
Everything was going smoothly. Soon he would have to ship out to save Aephus, but not before visiting the galaxy's resident bitch - Aria T'Loak.
Casually sitting next to her at a reasonable distance, Jasper looked over - right into her eyes. "So, how has Omega been since I helped get rid of Petrovsky?"
ariatheboss replied to your post: You should take Aria up on her offer, sweetheart. Just between you and me
“I like this guy.”
...Then hire him or something, get him off my back or whatever if you like him so much.
ariatheboss replied to your post: ariatheboss replied to your post: “Hm… your...
“Hope? I don’t need it. You either do or you don’t.” Seemed like that was the end of that conversation, at least, on Aria’s end, anyway.
"I, uh... okay." Tavi just blinked again, not sure what he was supposed to say.
