@PagodeArinzano 2016 Hacienda Rosé (SRP $19): This rosé reminds me of a Rosado, which is well known in Navarra, in both color and composition. These pink wines are generally darker, riper and rounder but albeit energetic and satisfying. Strawberry pink in color, this rosé is bright yet plump with fresh acidity carrying lifted flavors of macerated cherries, grenadine, orange peel and dusty spices. Not a delicate flower: it’s bright and fresh but with a bit of oomph.
