I wanted to ask about the general concept of the circus AU because it has been floating around in my mind after yesterday. How did Chrissy join the circus? How did Eddie? Who runs it and what are each person's "roles"?

Are you in my mind because I was JUST thinking about the circus au (hellcheer hive mind!)

I’m thinking Chrissy either joined running away from a botched engagement/wedding or she and Jason already work there (I can see Jason being a ringleader/lion tamer big shot) or she sneaks out to watch the show (because of course Laura doesn’t want to see any freaks) and becomes enchanted by the magic of it all!

Eddie maybe grew up in the circus? “Most kids dream about running away and joining the circus. Im already here” or something.

Still needs a lot of work!! Maybe Hopper is the owner with Joyce? We spoke of Murray being the fortune teller/magician. Idk how big a cast we want (Billy 100% is the strong man, Steve and Robin have a duo comedy act)

Alas I’m always thinking of ideas that I’ll probably never write like Jason/Chrissy go on The Newlywed Game to test their compatibility (Jason’s idea of course lmao) and WOW lo and behold Eddie (is he an audience member/cameraman/part of the other couple?) answers everything correct!!!

the teen pregnancy au is pretty self-explanatory for the most part, but it starts with chrissy and eddie getting together and getting pretty hot and heavy right off the bat (because of course?? how else would they be??), and despite their best efforts to be Safe, chrissy ends up pregnant. there's a little bit of drama/miscommunication when it comes to what they should do about it, but eventually chrissy decides to keep the baby and eddie is with her 100%. but... that's not the end of the drama 🙃

as for the omegaverse sequel... i am lowkey ashamed to say i really don't have a lot of info for it. i think i bit off more than i could chew with this au and while i'm very interested in the societal aspect of omegaverse and esp with chrissy being the alpha... i really don't know where i'm going with this sequel 😭 i wanna explore how the rest of hawkins reacts to them as a couple and a mated pair for sure, and then there's the whole mess of eddie being a registered beta... but overall it's just kind of vibes 😅
