GREER Riz only knew Greer from a distance, a friend of a fortunate friend: the subject of not-so-hushed whispers as she floated past the public school not far from her own. That all changed when they started at the same college. Riz became assimilated as part of her entourage, even if only as a background character. The new popular clique lived it up on campus while he documented their exploits. Always there, encouraging, a witness mostly missing from the proof.
HOW THEY EMBODY THEIR CHARACTER TROPE Riz has always kept to themselves, allowing others to make assumptions about their silence. It's not due to a lack of personality — far from it. The very few who have had the opportunity to get to know them understand it comes from a place of fundamental distrust. They were taught most people in the world are selfish and so keep their cards close to their chest. When questioned, Riz is absolute in his convictions that society needs to be torn down and started fresh. He believes there's no way out of the intergenerational trauma but to destroy the inheritance left behind.

★ @ollieinoue— riz and ollie attended the same high school in the bronx. the pair took computer science together and had a casual friendship, limited to the classroom. they didn't truly connect until attending ogden and finding themselves in the same popular social sphere.
★ @defavorise— riz and sloane met at ogden and quickly began making short films together. she's one of the closest friends they have, although he harbours a secret longterm crush on the younger morrison. riz if far too invested in seeming detached to do or say anything about it.
★ @sassa-fiske— riz and sassa had an ill-fated relationship last year. based purely on physical lust, neither considered the fact they were highly incompatible as a couple. sassa needed so much more from a partner than riz could ever give her. she wanted attention, he wanted distraction. she craved a grand romance, he craved for her to shut the fuck up.
★ @mari-zuko— riz and mari have slowly got to know each other since starting at ogden while floating around the same parties and meetups. with both of them being on the quieter side of things, they have inevitably ended up chilling out in a
kitchen away from the action more than once. there's a level of trust between them and riz finds themselves protective of her.
★ @isabellafm— riz likes to take photographs of bella. she's a muse of theirs. what started off as a quid pro quo aquaintanceship grew into a friendship. one thing led to another, one session got particularly cosy, and before either really thought about it they had sex. this has continued, casually, and they enjoy spending time together in relative silence: riz flicking through new prints and bella reading. he's trying to teach her how to uncomplicate her life.
★ @jessehart— riz thinks jesse is an idiot but in the best way. if anyone's going to pull a smile from their cold expression, as pained as it would be, it's jesse. riz enjoys coming up with zanier and zanier ideas to dare jesse with so he can photograph it.
★ @aceofportsmouth— riz has been suspicious of booker since the second or third time they met. he's never been great at trusting people on face value and, with booker having a gloried reputation, they're patiently waiting for something terrible about the guy to be revealed.
★ @pi-mimi-for-hire— riz will occasionally let mimi shuffle through his archive of ogden shots, to aid with her various theories. he doesn't neccessarily believe the trail of breadcrumbs the amateur investigator is following will lead to anything concrete but he will take on the odd job or two. on mimi's instructions, he'll tail a student for a weekend, photographing whatever they're upto.
★ @aletheapierce— riz didn't expect to like alethea. in fact, they anticipated hating anyone even a little like her. they are a ballet loving swiftie and riz is an arty sad boi with a lot of pretension. but they do. they like alethea a lot, bordering on love. it's a case of opposites attract and while it's strange to everybody, their friendship is charming.
★ @leakywright— riz and leaky spend a few private hours together every week, listening to new releases and having a jam. riz is very shy about playing the piano in front of anyone but leaky now. when they talk, it's about real emotional shit they don't really process through with anyone else.
★ @bvwie— riz listens to bowie's radio show every week. being deep into films, they call in regularly, usually to set the cat among the pidgeons and remind bowie they should be talking about things that matter. it annoys riz that bowie is constantly trying on new personas and it probably annoys bowie that riz is so stiff about it all.
