How to make a 'Coat of Many Colours' inspired embroidery patch, HQAL update
There are two stories connected to the coat of many colours, one from the bible and one from Dolly Parton. Their meaning is similar in a way, but also different. The embroidery patch below is my interpretation of the Coat of Many Colours. Also, given and made with love.
There are two stories connected to the coat of many colours, one from the bible and one from Dolly Parton. Their meaning is similar in a way, but also different.
In the bible, the coat of many colours is of Joseph. Joseph is the favourite son of Jacob because he reminds him of his beloved wife. Because of that, Jacob gave him a splendid coat of many colours. This made Joseph his brothers so…

Epiphone Lee Malia Explorer Custom Artisan | Guitar Review
I’ll admit, I’ve never been the biggest Bring Me the Horizon fan, but that didn’t stop me from thinking that all of guitarist Lee Malia‘s Artisan signature models look incredibly cool. My in-laws from St. Louis are visiting DC this weekend. We spent the morning walking various D.C. neighborhoods, starting with 14th Street which is just exploding with new shops and restaurants. Our first stop was the Wydown coffeeshop, a personal favorite because the owners are from St. Louis (my husband's home town) and I was fortunate to have the opportunity through work to assist the owners with the opening of their first coffee shop. More on this later … On our walk back home, we stopped by the D.C. Meet Market -- a new spot for me. It was like a smaller Eastern Market minus the produce. My favorite stop at the market was seeing the work of illustrator Marcella Kriebel. Her prints were so bright and colorful - mostly depicting fruits, vegetables, herbs, types of flowers and fish, etc. Really loved them. This was the last Meet Market of the season (first Saturday of the month) -- they reopen in the spring. Glad we made the stop!
The Sprone Fountain - Artisans on the Oltrarno
I was so happy to return home to find the Buontalenti’s Sprone fountain re-stored! situated in Piazza Frescobaldi between Via delle Sprone and Borgo San Jacopo you will find one of the most elegant fountains in Florence. The word ‘Sprone’ means a corner formated with two roads. You can easily arrive at this point by crossing the Ponte Santa Trinita bridge or from the famous Ponte Vecchio taking a…
